User Profile - Caching Issue

In some cases an update to your profile will not be seen right away, but don't worry - you are not doing anything wrong. This is usually just a a result of the sysetm caching some of that data to make the system faster. Usually the changes will show within 2-3 minutes.

Username and Password

These are required in order to create a unique profile within the community. Once submitted, you will be receiving an email with further information. The username will be the name associated with your profile so choose wisely.

Golf Profile

The community is built around golf and everything related to golf, so why not try to explain what type of player you are, what your game preferences are etc. These can later on be use to try to find players with similar (or totally different) background/focus on the game etc.

Golf Game Preference

This section further builds on the Golfer profile you are building. This section will allow you to define your preferences in regards to e.g. Mulligans and take relief...

Preference, Address and Contact Information

Yeah, you've done it so many times before and every site has it...we will use it a little bit different though - first of all we are developing a site that enables several languages and in addition - we will incorporate maps to show where our members are located. The contact info (naturally not displayed to the public) is only needed if you are planning on starting a golf club or enter a league or imuagolf sponsored tournament - we will need a way to get a hold of you.

Email Preferences

We would like to give you updates both as part of our newsletter but also when we do have exciting promotions, deals, tournaments etc. The email preference does not cover what happens in the community, i.e. if another member sends you email etc.
