This golf club is being established for the Optimist Club of Honolulu, a community youth service club, but anyone that is full of optimism, nice, and have good sportsmanship is welcome. We're not sure what we will do as far as golf now, but once are members sign up, we'll develop a golf routine.
We accept all handicaps, ages, races, and gender preferences. We are the Optimist Club of Honolulu. Thus, our club is called the Optimist Golf Club. We try to be optimistic, but some of us are still at the grumpy stage moving forward. :)
Our Club also sponsors a junior golf tournament every year, "The Hawaii Optimist International Junior Golf Championship Qualifier", usually held at Turtle Bay. The juniors that qualify, play in the OIJGC Tournament in West Palm Beach, FL., at the PGA National. So we are always looking for Sponsors for our tournament.
Each year we watch these junior golfers play so great, that we decided that we want to get better. We are inspired with our limited skills. Thanks to Imuagolf's website, this looks like a great way to get started.

| | | | The Optimist Club of Honolulu just concluded their 8th Hawaii OIJGC Qualifier at Turtle Bay - Fazio Course. 113 junior golfers played to qualify for the OIJGC tournament at the PGA National in Florida.
