Golf Course Description
Makena North Golf Course features 6,914 yard of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73. The golf course opened in 1993 and has since then received rave reviews with Hawaiian rock walls left at the course creating natural hazards. The course provides astonishing views of the Haleakala Crater and the Pacific Ocean. The signature hole is Hole 13, where the elevation between tee and green is 200 feet! The design made by Robert Trent Jones is very well thought out - even the car paths are mostly hidden from the fairways, which also have an interesting design where both right and left hand side slopes back to the middle of the fairway. |
