Golf Course Description
Ted Makalena Golf Course features 5,976 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course was designed by Bob Baldock and Robert Baldock and opened in 1971. The course is municipal course and tee times are first released to local residents with membership card seven days in advance. The course is located in Waipahu. The course is fairly flat with narrow fairways and is a great course for beginners. The short layout rewards accuracy. The Ted Makalena Golf Course was named after the first local winner of the PGA Tour's Hawaiian Open (1966). |
