Golf Course Description
Kona Country Club's Ocean Course is located next to the Pacific Ocean and features a couple of holes next to the ocean. The course opened in 1966 and designed by William Bell. It offers amazing oceanfront and mountain views. The Ocean Course is easier than Mountain Course but still offers a challenge. The fairways are wider and the course is relaxing having a Hawaii feel with all the palm trees, lava rocks and ocean. The course was home to LPGA events in 2000 and 2001 and it has made the top 100 courses list by Golf Digest. |
