Golf Course Description
The Princeville Makai Course consists of three nine holes named Woods, Lake , and Ocean. The Makai course is one of only two 27-hole layouts in Hawaii . Each nine is distinctive in its layout and scenic views. The Ocean featuring the spectacular North Shore coastline and Hanalei Bay , the Lakes winds its way around lakes; and the Woods offers spectacular mountain views and tropical forests. The Makai Course hosted the 1978 World Cup and was home for LPGA Tour events from 1986 to 1991. The course which opened in 1971 is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation that will continue until mid 2009. |
