Golf Course Description
Pearl Country Club Golf Course features 6,787 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course was designed by Akira Sato and opened in 1967. Located in Aiea on the slopes of the Koolau mountains, the golf course has great views of Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri. The name country club is misleading as the course is open to the public. The course is popular with locals and tourists and offers a great and challenging golf experience. The course does not have a lot of bunkers or water hazards, but the rolling terrain and fairway trees, and there are a lot of them, Northfolk pine, coconut trees and monkey pod trees, creates a challenge. Pearl Country Club is also home to The Hawaii Pearl Open, and it also hosts Monday qualifier to The Sony Open (PGA Tour). |
