so Tiger won last week - what a surprise...Not! I did have a fairly good week with picking both Tiger (1st place) and Zach Johnson (3rd). Here is a recap of last week's picks and the result:

This week will be one of those tournaments where it will be hard to predict who will come out on top. Next week is the Master's week so even if we do have some good players in this week's field they are most likely just in it for practice and to try out some last minute swing changes or clubs....Could we be more wrong? This week actually holds the strongest field ever seen at this tournament, including names such as Mickelson, Ogilvy, VIllegas, Anthony Kim, and Sergio Garcia... This is also the first tournament to what is known as Spring Season!. After watching the golf channel I do know that some of the players will take this week very seriously, which has of course changed my selection on some of the groups.

So without further delay here are my picks for the week and as always we do use Yahoo's fantasy game, thus the picks are divided into 3 groups where we need to pick 2 players from Group A, 4 players from group B, and 2 players from group C. At any given day you can pick 1 player from A, 2 from B, and 1 from C to "play for you".

Group A:
This is a nasty group and will most likely hold the winner of the tournament - I do believe Mickelson will take this one, but maybe Sergio will give him a fight? So, I'll just pick these two guys.

Starter: I will start with Mickelson Thu and Fri and then we'll see.

Group B:
This group was somewhat tricky (as always), but I'll try to use the inside info I did get earlier this week for my picks so here we go: Davis Love III - he has (according to reports) looked really good at the range and at a practice round at home and he took some time of the last week so should be ready to play. Another player that has been reported to be ready to roll is Steve Stricker so I'll add him as well. The last 2 picks are sort of this week’s dark horses - we picked Aaron Baddley Rory McIIroy...Aaron has so much potential and with the Stack and Tilt should start seeing some result soon....Rory, well one of the youngest winners on the European Tour and he is a great player, next Tiger even?

For this group I had no problem picking 2 players - Charles Howell II (second week I pick him) and Dean Wilson....Yeah yeah I know not the best pick maybe but he is from Hawaii so....
