U.S. Open Update - Will McDowell runaway with this championship? McDowell is 4 shots clear of the lead with Dustin Johnson the only other player under par. Phil Mickelson is not looking good, more of Thursday's game than Friday's - + 2 for the day. Tiger Wood's play has turned around after beeing +2 for the day after 2 holes he is now -1 for the day, +3 total, 8 shoots behind McDowell, but only 13 positions behind...
Still wide open and many players in it, especially since the leaders still have the back 9 to play, which has proven to be more of a test than the front 9. Maybe Dustin Johnson can pull away - remember, he won the last 2 tournaments played at Pebble Beach...favorit course maybe...
